the Hannah Community Center's Youth Action Team.

Delta Sigma Phi Bed Race

Come join Delta Sigma Phi and the New 97.5: Lansing's Hit Music Station, to raise money for Hannah Community Center's Youth Action Team in East Lansing. Money raised will go towards equipment, supplies, youth scholarships and other funding to support and progress this great program. Bring your family and friends to enjoy an afternoon of bed races, great oldies music, giveaways, and great food.

Direct Donation
Donate any amount of money in your company or group's name directly to the Hannah Community Center's Youth Action Team. With a donation of $300 or more, your company or group name and/or logo will be added to our Race Day Banner as well as to our promotional Bed Race T-shirts.


Delta Sigma Phi Bed Race

Sponsor a Team
For $150, your company can sponsor a local team's bed. This is a great way to aid an under-funded East Lansing Youth team, while simultaneously gaining advertising exposure in the community. Due to increased participation this fall, we can only offer the first 13 entrees a preassembled bed. However, every team is encouraged to build and decorate their own bed.


Donate Prizes
Door prizes and gift certificates can be donated to the first, second, and third place teams in categories such as fastest team, best dressed rider, and best themed bed. There will also be a raffle at the conclusion of the event where everyone who purchased a raffle ticket, will have an opportunity to win prizes.

Donate Food
Donate food for the race day which can be sold at moderate prices. All proceeds from food donations will be added to the total amount raised for the Youth Action Team.


Enter Company/Organization Team
Organize a team of employees to build, decorate, and race your company bed. This would be a great opportunity to get your company involved directly in the community, get great exposure, and reward your employees with a great, festive afternoon. Though teams will only consist of four runners and one rider, participation and support is encouraged from all company employees.


Booth for Race Day
For $150, set up a promotional booth directly by the race track giving out coupons, selling products, signing people up for mailing lists, or giving product demonstrations. This is a great way to introduce your company and your products to the public, possibly gaining a new market of consumers for your business.


In its third year, with generous support from contributors like yourself and the help of the Greek community, we were able to raise over $4,500! East Lansing students, residents, and businesses alike have all come together to support the tremendous programs of the Youth Action Team. The Delta Sigma Phi Bed Race truly makes a difference in the lives of East Lansing's youth.
